Awakened Being Hunting Party

A hunting party normally consists of four Claymore of varying strength, tasked with eliminating a single Awakened Being. Although a single-digit Claymore is normally included, casualty and Awakening rates on such missions are high

Organisation

Hunting parties are formed by The Organization's handlers in response to an Awakened Being elimination request. They seem to select Claymore based on proximity, although a stronger single-digit ranker is always included. The normally solitary Claymore are shown and implied to frequently argue when working together. The single-digit leads by senority and personal force. Few examples of team tactics by Claymore are seen, until the mobilisation of 24 warriors by Miria in the Northern Campaign.

Very few Awakened Being hunts end without the death or Awakening of all or some of the hunting party. The inefficiency of generally killing one Awakened being by creating another is not shown to concern the organisation very much.

Noteable Hunting parties

-Hilda, Miria, two other Claymore. Awakened being eliminated, Hilde and Miria promised to fight alongside each other again

-Ophelia, Miria, two other Claymore. The Awakened Hilde, is killed by Miria, who almost Awakens herself

-Miria, Helen, Deneve, Clare. Probably intended to get rid of troublesome warriors, ends with the elimination of the Awakened

-Ophelia and Clare. Unusually involved two Claymore due to Ophelia's strength. Awakened being eliminated, Ophelia Awakened and killed by Clare

-Jean, Katea, two other Claymore. All killed by Dauf and Riful apart from Jean

-Dietrich, three other Claymore. Party almost killed, saved by Helen and Deneve
